Perseverance – Liloo Gringa – Kiteboarding
from LILOO GRINGA
The aim of this video is not to make a kitesurf demonstration. It’s about sending a message, to everyone no matter the sport or the job you do in life.
I won’t tell you the story of my life, that’s not the idea, but I would like to share with you a little piece of me:
Overall, I’m not someone who has many innate skills. I always have to work hard to accomplish something, in every area, but especially in kitesurfing.
This lack of skills turned out to be a strength because it forces me to work harder, be more disciplined and never give up no matter what.
My dad always taught me that “when there is a will there is a way” even if we are not very good at something.
When I started kiteboarding, I’d have never thought I could get where I am today. I remember that my mom, even if she is not my number 1 supporter, she thought that I’d never be able to get up on the board (lol). Despite that, I never stopped fighting and I never will.
Faith, determination and hard work are stronger than anything.
Kiteboarding has been there for me, most of my life. All the punches, the crashes, the tears thrown into the sea and the sacrifices are definitely worth it.
Never let anyone tell you what you can or cannot do, nor who you should or shouldn’t be.
Live your dreams, it doesn’t matter what others think of you, because nobody knows the struggle you had to go through to get where you are.
Fight for what you love, and never give up even if life puts obstacles in front of you, just find the strength to go around them or jump them through!
The Strapless traction you’ve been waiting for
What started as a traction set for the Shinnster rapidly developed into the perfect pad pattern for all modern strapless kiteboards. The front pad features rail kicks for dependable grabs and our revolutionary Pi-arch foot trap for better grip during airs, more support (and less chance of slipping) for landings and superior control for all kinds of strapless freestyle
There are so many ways to express what you carry inside you. Constantly, we keep on trying to look for the true meaning outside of us. We always fail when we look on the outside. This is a Ride Clash film portrait, about three passionate Andalusian riders. Starring: Alvaro Onieva, Maxi Gomez & Guillermo Alvarez […]
Girls Addicted: An LF Love Affair
from Vincent Bergeron
The women of team Liquid Force know how to get down. Malin Amle, Kristiin Oja and Sensi Graves met up in the winter kiting destination of Brazil to shred together, push each other and support one another. Once they arrived, sessions were quick and dirty. The ladies fed off of one another, bringing explosive power and lots of energy to the table. This fast-paced edit reflects the on-the-go lifestyle that these women live, traveling from session to session around the globe, meeting up with friends when possible and pushing the limits to inspire female kiteboarders everywhere. All for the love of the sport. It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it.
