After a few month without Kite due to a knee injury, I’m back at Uruau where my friend Bruce holds Pousada Vidaboa. My goal is to have fun testing my new surf boards Slingshot : Tyrant and Celeritas and a twin tip Vision. Mainly, I want to check my knee strength in waves or lagoon of flat water.
The answer is in the video 😉

Searching for new spots and enjoying kitesurfing in different sceneries is a big part of what drives me. I have always wanted to kitesurf on an inlandriver. When I found this sweet canal somewhere in the middle of nowhere I knew that this was going to be the place for my dreams to come true.
I had an amazing time learning to fly at the Big Horn Snow Kite Summit. Make sure to watch until 2:10 This is definitely the biggest I have ever gone… Thanks to North Kiteboarding 3B Extreme Discrete Gnarly Nutrition Dakine Smith Spreadstoke Sandmarc Exult kitewaer Goal Zero
Tom Court – A Year In Motion
from Tom Court
Wow, what a year it has been! As I sit here in the UK editing these highlight clips it almost seems like a dream, remembering all of the great times, good people and epic projects that have composed my year. Starting in Cape Town and continuing to Galicia, Fuerteventura, Cape Hatteras, Hood River, San Francisco, Germany, Ireland, UK and all the other places in Between.
Kiteboarding is one of the most versatile and free sports out there, allowing such creativity and providing the freedom to travel and explore a huge variety on locations. In 2015 I will be editing some ‘Freeride Project’ episodes as I travel, showing what I get up to, the projects that I have on the go and the people that I meet. Sessions with the UKcrew and my team mates and all the fun in-between. Working towards another movie release at the end of the year.
Check this out ! Here is my compilation about my almost one year stay in the mother city #CapeTown. That was an amazing experience. The season was awesome, wind and waves were pumping and I pushed myself to a new level. Can’t wait to be back !!! What a year ! Hope you enjoy… More: […]
