Paul Serin’s Freestyle Dream Sessions—Brazil

Uruau, Brazil is almost made for Freestyle, it’s like a swimming pool with steady wind every day—drawing all the pros here to train, learn new tricks and get ready for the next tour stop. Paul Serin spent three weeks here testing out new tricks that he’s been dreaming about and filming for his latest documentary.
The documentary, filmed by Olivier Sautet will include various events throughout the year on the VKWC world tour: leucate, germany, and fuerteventura to name a few, in addition to his home in France. The film is about his dedication to kiteboarding and the sacrifices him and his family have made for the dream, as well and life on the road, surfing new spots and seeing new cultures. Some of the clips—the ones in this video—are filmed by André Magarao and Laci Kobulsky. The final 52mn documentary will be broadcasted on 2 channels dedicated to kiteboarding. Stay tuned for the films release early next year!

Polar kite

During late autumn, the sun gets lower and lower, temperature drops and before you even know it, it’s a new session. Snowkiteing is nice, gives you a taste of wilderness when you glide over soft snow 600 meters above sea level. Here in Tromsø, northern Norway the sun disappears for two months and gives us polar night. The days are short with some hours of intense light on the sky. It is like kiteing in sunset for 3 hours every time. Hope you like this polar night edit.
