Arbor Skateboards :: James Kelly – Burn It Down
from Arbor Collective
On a rare occasion, you see a video that makes you stop – stop what you’re doing, stop what you’re thinking, even stop how you’re breathing – a video that masters your emotions and alters your vitals. At that moment, when your heart jumps into your throat, and your nerve endings fire, you realize you’re seeing something memorable.
With that we invite you to see a piece we filmed with Arbor team rider, James Kelly, to support the launch of his new pro model. The final product stopped us in our tracks. It reminded us once again why in downhill skating James is called the American Dream. A title he’s been burning down for years with a humble approach and an unmatched intensity at speed.
AHEAD – Scotland
from Daniel Mildner
After leaving his home in Germany, the passionate skateboarder Markus Blessing found himself surrounded by nothing but water:
„Endless, I think, endless is the word that describes my particular situation best…
Slowly something appears on the horizon, green hills seem to grow out of the water. The Seagulls already welcome me. They fly over my head. A sight for the gods – a benefit for mankind. This breathtaking view, crafted by the hands of god, overwhelms me. Unshackled from my past – bound by this moment.“
Kandaiki – Fries Taillieu
from Desillusion Magazine
If skateboarding’s a disease, Fries Taillieu is terminally ill.
Desillusion spent a weekend skating the streets of Ghent, with one of Europe’s finest unsung heroes.

WRECK WELCOMES MANOLO ROBLES
from Wreck Wheels
Born and raised in Almeria, Spain – where skateboarding meets the Mediterranean Sea – Wreck’s newest Professional makes jaws drop with his technical attack on any ledge he comes across. Whether Manolo is locking in world record front crooks, flipping in – or flipping out, he is always taking technical skills to an unprecedented level.
We Are Blood is a modern day skate epic featuring Paul Rodriguez and other top skateboarders as they travel the globe pushing the limits of what’s possible on a board and four wheels while celebrating the unconditional bond created by the simple act of skateboarding.

Sony RX10 II Black and White Skateboarding
from Kristoffer Davidsson
Went to Highvalley Skateworld with Simon Ax yesterday to film some more with my Sony RX10 II. Filmed in both 1080p 100fps and HFR 250fps. Started at 1250 ISO and went as high as 6400 at some of these shots, just to keep the shutter right when the light faded away. Edited and graded in Premiere CC2015, Lumetri Looks and I’ve added som Gorilla Grain in post too.
