Being a surfer in Holland isn’t easy. No waves, it’s freezing balls and when all the forces of nature do cooperate it’s already dark. So that one time a year the swells gets good and the sun is down you have to be resourceful…
A recent purple blob in the Pacific sent a large scale west swell to the Hawaiian Islands. Debates were made whether or not the unusual angle of swell would work at Jaws. After a historic few days of surfing and arguably the best big wave ever caught by a woman, we’ll let the images do the talking

The Craftsman Project – 001/Brent Ferris

This is a short documentary about Brent Ferris and his life as a Craftsman. Brent is the owner of Good Times Barbershop in Imperial Beach, California, a small coastal town on the US-Mexico border, as well as a surfboard shaper and avid surfer.
This is the first of many short documentaries under the title, “The Craftsman Project” which will give a glimpse into the lives of people who make a living working with their hands.
A huge thanks to Good Times Barbershop and the guys who took the time out of their lives to come out and be a part of the shoot.
