“Let’s Do This!” | The Search
from Rip Curl
At this point Dillon Perillo and Luke Hynd had already had their share of mysto reefs and hidden corners. Balinese hot rat Garut Widiarta, also on board, was barrel hardened at home in the Indo season, but Mick Fanning was busy being “Mick Fanning 3 X world champion, and man-of-the-moment-soon-to-be-shark puncher” – the role model all parents want their kids to grow up to be. Yet, the undisputed leader of world professional surfing was waiting in the wings for the right opportunity to whip off the comp vest and Search…

Trevor Gordon’s Tail Fin Trials
from Ian Durkin
Trevor Gordon worked with shaper Ryan Lovelace to create four weird iterations of a finless surfboard. With nothing but curiosity and intuition guiding them, the boards were made with radical asymmetrical lines coming to a pointed tail on the toe side. The following is a showcase of Trevor’s trials with each board.

Kai Barger spent a little more time at home this fall. In doing so he traded points on the WQS for clips in the hard drive vault. We are stoked on his efforts and put together a season’s edit. A few clips from our film Attractive Distractions interlaced into his productive start to the winter season. Kai often surprises us in his well rounded surfing, further showcasing Maui as the hotbed for talent. Enjoy the edit and look forward for more in the near future

The Drifter – Rob Machado
from Koastal Media
Iconic surfer and former Pipe Master Rob Machado flew to Indonesia to experience a different kind of surf trip. A journey that would take him way beyond his comfort zone, to the point where he could finally be alone with his thoughts, his desires and the empty perfection of an unnamed Indian Ocean reef. What did he discover? You never stop dreaming. Even when they come true.
