Sérgio Nunes – Um dia, de cada vez
Sérgio is one our beloved friends to whom we can always call to know how are the waves on the west coast, as soon as the sun get’s up he is one of the firsts to take a look and probably get in. He lives differently, he appreciates the little things, he doesn’t need much, he have his dog, Dança, always on his side, some boards to surf and when there’s no waves he goes spearfishing picks up some trash from the beach.

O’Neill Benelux explores Iceland
Only 1/3 of the surfable ocean waves are warm and tropical. Jack O’Neill developed the wetsuit in 1952 and with that opened the door to the other 2/3 with often empty line-ups and ice-cold but picture-perfect waves. Why always go to tropical over-crowded locations is what O’Neill Benelux team rider Dominga Valdes asked herself. Together with 4 of the best Dutch and Belgium surfers, she travelled to the freezing cold land full of mysteries: Iceland, in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean – to find perfection.

La Danse Macabre – Craig Anderson
from Desillusion Magazine
Australian surfer and South African native Craig Anderson is possibly one of the best things to happen to surfing in recent years, bringing an incomparable style and aesthetic everytime he sets foot in the ocean. Desillusion Magazine editor in chief, Sebastien Zanella, spent a night following Craig, insomnia setting in, wandering on the east coast of New South Wales, Australia.
“La Danse Macabre” is a short experimental film between nightmares and reality, fiction and dreams.

Regarding the drop-in it was in no way a personal sabotage. It was super inconsistent and old mate had had a fair run and I felt like it was time for someone else (me) to get a wave. I was the only local out there and it just happened super quick.
Mick Fanning | One Session
from Ryan Moss
This footage was taken somewhere in Mexico back in 2011. I will never forget watching Mick absolutely wreck havoc on this sand point break. We were with Dane, Shane, Benny B. , Bottle,Fisher, and Nutty. Dane and Mick were the clear standouts of the trip. But, it was this session that separated Mick from the rest of the crew and put him in a league of his own when it came to surfing perfect right hand point breaks. Dane walked away with the move of the trip with his crazy turn at Bamba. Mick walked away with the session of the trip hands down.
At the end of every year, the professional surfing community migrates to Hawaii’s seven mile miracle on Oahu’s North Shore to test their surfing skills and bravado on some of the best, most challenging, and most dangerous waves on the planet. Some go for title races, some go for the Wave of the Winter, while […]
