“We need to teach the next generation”.
Fergal Smith isn’t your average surfer. Having grown up on an organic vegetable farm in Ireland, Fergal learned the importance of family, food and a healthy lifestyle from a young age. Despite travelling far and wide in search of waves, Fergal remains true to his roots and continues to live in Ireland to this day having established a community garden on his farm Moy Hill. Desillusion editor Pierre David spent 4 days with Fergal in his hometown of County Clare to gain a deeper insight into Fergal’s world and the importance of living a self sustaining and happy life.
This short film is based on the article “It’s a long way from Clare to here” published in Desillusion Magazine 48 , Tome 4 available on bit.ly/1yyNUC4
